
USD380 welcomes our second superintendent candidate today.
Mrs. Shana Steinlage is currently the Marshall-Nemaha Educational Services Cooperative Director in Seneca, Kansas, a role she has been in since 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Emporia State University and went on to Iowa State University where she received her master's degree in educational administration.
Steinlage has dedicated the past 22 years to helping students achieve their goals. She has held a variety of positions within the school system, giving her a broad background and understanding of student support and teacher success.

Congratulations to the 7th grade Scholars Bowl team for placing 2nd and the 8th graders 4th at OTL today.



We welcome our first superintendent candidate today.
Mr. Joel Bickford is currently the Secondary Principal at the Bottineau School District in Bottineau, North Dakota, a role he has been in since 2012. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history and physical education from Jamestown College and went on to the University of North Dakota where he received his master’s degree in educational leadership. Bickford is a 25-year member of the National Guard, serving as a Commander and Officer Strength Manager for 5 years.
Bickford has been involved in a successful building initiative, guiding school improvement teams, and a school-wide Title 1 determination process.
Bickford has been in educational leadership for 15 years. He currently speaks to organizations as a motivational speaker and writes columns for two newspapers.

Congratulations to Devlin Ogg he won the Marshall County Spelling Bee and will represent us at the State Spelling Bee!


Great job to our Scholars Bowl team. They competed at the State Meet today. Didn’t make the finals but we are proud of you!


We had 2 lines of Principal’s 225 fill up today. Great group of kids here doing great things!

Due to road conditions in the southeast part of the district USD 380 will have No School on Wednesday February 2 2022.

It was great to have alumnus Abra Shirley in the building talking to the elementary students about her artistic career.

With the tournament being postponed today and moving games to next week, start times for the tournament will be 3:15 Monday and Tuesday. We will be early releasing Monday and Tuesday at 2pm. Thank you for your understanding.

The Twin Valley League Tournament has been postponed for today January 15. Todays games will be played on Monday. Mondays on Tuesday and Tuesdays on Wednesday.

Another great group of kids filled a Principal’s 225 line.


Frankfort High School is excited to host the 2022 Twin Valley League basketball tournament. The gate prices for the tournament are $6 adult and $4 K-12 students. This year’s tournament was seeded on power points. The fun starts this Saturday.





The Scholar’s Bowl team placed 2nd at Washington Co today.
