Parents and Staff,
The Centralia School lost an HVAC unit in the storm last night damaging a gas line. Thankfully, the Centralia fire department quickly isolated the leak and turned off the gas. Kansas Gas will need to check the building for safety before anyone may enter. As a result the USD 380 Schools will operate per the following schedules:
Centralia: two-hour delay
Vermillion Early Childhood: NO CLASSES (am or pm)
Frankfort: normal schedule (8:15-3:30)
Thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
