Centralia School

We had our annual "It is a great day to be alive and to be a panther day" at the Football field to day. This is where the entire K-12 spends the last few hours interacting and playing games. We started the day in the stands singing the Fight Song. Then Jacie Koch, Taige Koch, and Jayce Schmitz sang the School Alma Mater. We then had our Pep Rally Skit where some of the Women Teachers Squared off against some of the Men Teachers in a football game. Last, the STUCO finalized their Pie in the Face Fundraiser for Daniel Childress. Mr. Holthaus was the big winner but they decided to reward 2nd and third as well. The STUCO and all of the organizations of Centralia Schools raised right at $5000.00 for the Childress Family. The students were then served by the boosters some Ice Cream from the Rockey Road Creamery. Afterwards they ran around the football field interacting with all ages. I love watching the little ones interact and play activities with our older students. It is my favorite day of the year as a principal. We will have more pictures and video to share in the near.

Centralia High School Football travels to Atchison today to take on Maur Hill-Mount Academy.

Mrs. Poe's 7th grade technology class teamed up with Mrs. Bergman's physics class for an exciting hands-on lesson about 3D printing! Students explored how this innovative technology works and saw creativity come to life layer by layer.

The Centralia Cross Country team travels to Seneca for the Nemaha Central meet at Spring Creek Golf Course.
The girls will run at 4:00, followed by the boys.
