
Congratulations to these Centralia FFA members for competing well at FFA leadership school in Holton today. 8th over all team Leadership school -6th in parliamentary procedure.


Congratulations to our football team in their 8-7 win over Olpe. These 2 teams carry a lot of tradition with them. Olpe sidelines were full and Centralia sidelines were the same. Although these two communities have great football teams, they also raise great young men. Respect!



Landon Reinhardt @landonian87 from KSNT 27 Sports is back in Centralia tonight. Although we don’t have any water puddles for him to jump bare feet in we would like to thank him and @KSNTNews @KSNTSports for sending him back to Riggins Family Field. Time to Shine Panthers!


Kyra Bergman gave her final speech as the KAY Area 3 President at the Regional Conference today. Kyra has done a great job of serving as both Area 3 President and as the local chapter president. Keep Shining Bright Panthers!


Mrs. Reinart decorated our commons areas this past week and added some decorations supportive of the football team. Thanks Carol and Good Luck tonight panthers! We hope to see a lot you out there tonight!

Going to be Lots of Posts today: First of all Happy Veterans Day to all those that have served our Great Nation! We are gearing up for our Veteran’s Day Ceremonies. Mrs. Whetzal and the KAY organization has worked hard to ensure we honor our Veterans here at Centralia Schools.





Mrs. Gleason’s Enrichment Class has been hard at work. These will be used tomorrow during our Veteran’s Day program and we will then find a platform to auction them off so we can then put those funds back towards future projects. Shining Bright Panthers! Happy Veteran’s Day!





Busy Day Today: Mr. Evan’s Health Class has been working on their Mental/Emotional Health Unit for the past few weeks. Today Brenda Quigley presented to the class. She has made this visit the past few years. Brenda-Thank you for volunteering your time to our school/community.




Mrs. Schmitz is working with the 6th Grade students using a program that analyzes their interests and matches those interests to careers. Xello is a great platform for young students to explore the different careers.


Spent some time in our Classrooms this morning. Here are a few pictures from our Elementary Classrooms —Loved seeing the engagement within the classrooms. The classrooms were also full of interactions between students and between teacher and students.

Centralia School will be hosting KSHSAA Sectional Playoff football on Friday Nov. 11 against Olpe. Kickoff is at 7:00pm at Riggins Family Field. Centralia Schools looks forward to all of you joining us in the stands and on the sidelines. Time to Shine Panthers!



The west OTL vocal clinic was hosted by Centralia tonight. Students from 4 area schools come together to work as one with a clinician ( Richard Philbrook).The students put on a great show with some great vocal pieces! The Centralia students represented the school well tonight!

Congratulations to the Centralia Panther Football team for being Regional Champs and advancing to the next round in the playoffs. Panthers defeated a very tallented Jefferson County North Team 34-8.

The High School Football Team and Centralia Schools would like to thank Bruce Bachman for his continued support. This evening he provided the meal for our Football team. He started this with his son Tyler around 23 years ago. Thank you Bruce Bachman and Family. #Time to Shine!!

Kent Schnakenberg is attempting his 67 mile bike ride today since November is Diabetes Awareness Month. His Centralia fan club greeted him as he passed through and of course he took time to visit with the students and his good friend Mason McClain.

Congratulations to our Centralia Scholar's Bowl Team who placed 2nd at the NC invitational last night. Awesome start to their season!!
