
We had some "Talley Time" for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students today. We are always looking for different ways to celebrate success. In a world that focuses on negative behavior, we want to reward hard work and good habits and plus it was a beautiful Friday to be outside.







We celebrated Senior Night at Riggins Family Field. Congratulations to the Senior Football and Cross Country athletes and their parents for all of their accomplishments the past four years. Panthers Won another hard fought battle with Troy. Once a Panther, Always a Panther!


The Northeast Kansas Music Educators Association has started a 7th grade and an 8th grade honor band this year. The following students were selected to participate in this band. They are chosen based on director nominations.
7th Grade: Myla Talley- 10th chair Flute
Breena Haug- 5th chair Clarinet
8th Grade: Riley Broxterman- 9th chair Flute
Kaylee Olberding- 17th chair Clarinet
Taige Koch- 3rd chair Alto Saxophone
Hunter Wenzl- 6th chair Trombone
They will perform on December 7th at the Topeka-Seaman High School at 1:00. Tickets are $1 at the door.


The Centralia Panther Football plays Troy at home tonight and it is Senior Night! Kick off is at 7:00 pm . Football & Cross Country Seniors will be honored before the game.

Mrs Sara Kramer organized a cheer clinic for the 7th and 8th grade students interested in cheerleading. Tonight they cheered at the Junior High Football game. Awesome job to Mrs Kramer and all those who participated.






To the Parents and guardians of Centralia Schools. The teachers, administration, and our entire staff would like to thank everyone for taking part in Parent Teachers Conferences yesterday evening. The teachers were busy for most all of the night and the conversations were geared towards the needs of our students. The Staff would also like to thank SBS Insurance; Kim, Bryce, Bryan, Josh, and your entire staff for providing an amazing Lunch cooked by Hanna Bell Catering. The school is grateful for your support!!

Lawnmower was used this past year up to the point we received the new one.
The hydraulic press hasn't been used the past 4-5 years.
The Table Saw was replaced with one that had safety features.







The Centralia Panther Cross Country team travels to Onaga for the TVL meet this afternoon.
The meet starts at 4:00 pm.

Good Afternoon: Not to bombard you again today but we are currently having our Parent Teacher Conferences and we would love to see 100% of our parents. Parent engagement plays a huge factor in the success of our panther students. Plus, the teachers and myself love visiting with someone other than staff members. When you make it in today, Mrs. Gore is asking everyone to bring lots of money and stop by the Book Fair in the Library. She will be there until 8:00 pm. Please let us know if you have any questions.

We have a lot going on today at Centralia Schools.
First and most important, today we are having our Fall Parent Teachers Conferences. They start at 12:00 p.m and will run till 8:00 p.m. tonight. Elementary teachers are in their classrooms. Grades 6 through 12 teachers will be in the South Gym.
We are also Hosting the KAY annual Blood Drive in the Old gym.
The Book Fair is also going on in the Library Today. Mrs. Gore would love to see you. Pictures attached.
Last Item: I have included pictures of our lost found. If you see any item that looks like your kids, please pick it up today at the school. Our plan is to donate the unclaimed items. Thank you!

Tonight's JV football game vs Horton has been cancelled. Senior Parents: Mr. Holthaus sent out an emailing this morning concerning Senior Night on October 18th which is this Friday's football game vs Troy.

Centralia's JV Volleyball team travels to Jackson Heights this evening for a Quad with Onaga, Nemaha Central & Jackson Heights. Games start at 5:00 pm.


Congratulations to the Junior High girls volleyball team who are OTL Champions this year. Shout out to the junior high boys and the entire student section for creating a great and loud atmosphere for the volleyball team today.




The Centralia Junior High Volleyball team wraps up their season with the OTL Tournament today in Frankfort.
The Panthers come in as the top seed and will begin pool play at 9:00 am versus Axtell. Their second pool play game will be approximately at 11:00 am versus Onaga.
Semi-Final Matches will begin approximately at 12:15 pm, followed by the Finals.

Centralia Cross Country will run in the Riley County Invitational today. High School Races start at 10:30 am.
