Centralia Junior High Track has a meet in Frankfort today. The meet starts at 12:30 with Triple Jump & High Jump. All other field events will start at 1:00 pm. The running events will start at 3:00 pm. Good Luck Panthers!

JH Track & Field had a perfect weather day competing in Onaga yesterday. Faith Plager tied the school record in high jump (4’10”). Mollie Winkler set the record in 2005. 8th grade girls (Tenley Heideman, McKenna Griffith, Faith Plager, & Carlee Steinlage) broke the 4x100 record (55.16). Old record was set by Sabrina Allen, Joanie Gleason, Renee Heideman, & Ciara Stallbaumer (55.27).

After learning about comics and studying heroes the 2nd graders created comic strips about the life of Aviatrix Bessie Coleman!

The Centralia Golf team made big time improvements from last week! The team shot 25 strokes better and placed 2nd yesterday in Onaga! Bronx Talley shot an 85, and got third! Landon Heller shot a 97 and placed 8th! Gage Wimberly, placed 10th! Blake Broxterman took 13 strokes off his round from a week ago. Way to Go Panthers!

The Centralia Softball team is on the road at Blue Valley today. The Doubleheader starts at 4:30pm.

Junior High competed in their second track meet of the season at Frankfort. There was some very tough competition, but the athletes performed well. Kambrie Rempe broke the school record in the 100 hurdles (18.36). The old record (18.85) was held by Drew Kramer in 2012.

Kindergarten & First Grade was able to enjoy the beautiful weather at the Topeka Zoo & Gage Park today!

Tomorrow night is PROM at Centralia! There will be a Parade of Dates, starting with the students cruising the route marked on the attached map. They will then park on 4th Street and walk down the street starting at the bank and head south, ending just before the Post Office. The Parade of Dates will start at 7:00 pm.
