On Saturday, 9 students went to Topeka and participated in the NEKMEA Honor Band/Choir. They rehearsed for about 4 hours before performing their concerts with students from all over northeast Kansas. This is a great experience and an outstanding achievement. Congratulations!

NHS will be having a Bake Sale tonight before the K-12 Christmas Concert.
Bake Sale will be from 5:30 to 6:30 and the Christmas Concert starts at 6:30.

On November 26th FBLA members toured Nebraska Furniture Mart's Omaha campus. The members gained important knowledge about how they operate and the range of career options at NFM.
In a collaborative project with Mrs. Schmitz and Mrs. Holthaus, 6th graders created some amazing ornaments. They were provided with craft sticks and glue and had access to Mrs. Holthaus's craft supply drawer, allowing them to craft some truly great pieces. What a creative group!

IT'S STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY!
The Centralia Panthers take on Conway Springs in the State Football Championship today at Hutchinson Community College! Kick off is at 5:00 pm.
Football Player send off is at 10:45 this morning at the school.
Gates open in Hutchinson at 3:00 pm and we will be sitting on the East side.

Great Day to be alive and a Panther! The Panthers win tonight 22-9 against the Rossville Bulldogs. I believe this team has truly shown how amazing things can happen when you bond together, put your own needs aside, and serve those around you. All throughout the year they haven't been the biggest nor the fastest but when you put them together they sure do pack a punch! These Seniors have done a great job leading this team. Also, Great job to all the cheerleaders, the dance team, the band members, and all the students participating in tonights event. As always Centralia students, your principal loves you, you are amazing, and Once A Panther Always A Panther!!!
Tonight at the Football Game the Concession Stand will have Hot Chocolate and Coffee for sale to warm you up as you cheer on the Panthers!

2nd graders are enjoying the story during library time. Mrs Gore does a great job at picking books that catch the attention of all students. Although they get the wiggles, students are listening and they love being read a good book. Mrs Gore reads weekly to all K-5 students.
