Centralia High School is hosting the TVL Scholars bowl on January 30th. This was originally scheduled for the 29th. We have moved the competition to the 30th. Centralia schools will not be in session the 30th of January 2025. Please plan accordingly, and thank you.

Centralia Boys & Girls Basketball C-Teams finish their tournaments this evening.
The boys will play Hiawatha at 7:15 in the secondary gym at Nemaha Central for 5th place.
The girls will play Nemaha Central at 7:30 in the varsity gym at Sabetha for 1st place.
The Centralia Junior High girls B-Team placed 2nd at their tournament in Blue Rapids today.

The Centralia Junior High B teams play in a tournament today at Valley Heights. Games start at 9:00 am. If they lose the 9:00 am they will play at 10:00 am and if they win the 9:00 am game they will play again at 11:00 am.

K-6 enjoyed Mufasa The Lion King at Seneca Twin Theaters today for meeting their monthly reading goals for the first semester!
Centralia held their school Spelling Bee this morning. 30 spellers in 3rd through 8th grade competed in a written round and 13 spellers advanced to the oral round. The top 6 spellers advance to the Nemaha County Spelling Bee on January 25th held here at Centralia Schools.

Yesterday the 2nd graders sang some Christmas songs with me then were surprised to see some reindeer waiting in their room. The k-6 teachers have been doing lots of arts and crafts and creative thinking projects with their students.
6th, 7th, and 8th graders are spending Talley Time at the Seneca Theater watching Red One. Thank you to the boosters for covering the cost and thank you to the Theater for allowing us to come up.
