State pep rally for our scholars bowl team had some pretty tough questions about our teachers. Thinking the students learned a lot today about our staff. Great job to parents, cheerleaders, and all involved. Morgan Allan gave a pep talk on her wrestling meet tomorrow at Sabetha!

The Centralia Staff would like to thank the Booster Club and all the Panther Boosters for purchasing a refrigerator for our School Office. This will be used to keep lunch items cool for our staff. Another bonus is that the Boosters will be stocking the refrigerator with pop and other drinks for the entire Staff. As you can see, Mrs. Gleason has already found the Diet Pepsi! Over the weekend, Jacie and Parker Koch participated in the Wichita State University Honor Band. Jacie was 7th chair Flute, and Parker was 1st chair Tenor Sax. They received their music Friday morning and performed their concert Saturday evening. They both did an excellent job. Congratulations, Jacie and Parker!

This project was created in Mrs. Bergman's Physics class from the start of December up until the end of January. Here is the write up I was sent by these students------------During this period, we learned how to control its arm using the pressure from syringes to raise and lower the arm, open and close its claw, and rotate it from its base. Along with that, we had to use our constructive skills to construct the hydraulic arm so everything would function correctly and have the strength to hold not only itself but also raise an object. Our goal for this was for it to be able to lift a water bottle. After these 2 months, we finally accomplished the feat, so we presented it to the Kindergarten class and let them try it out for themselves. It took all of our heads but now we can finally say this project was successful.

Some of the high school boys had a good time taking pictures with the JH boys after the basketball game.

Congratulations to our JH teams on a great year of basketball. Girls finished 2nd in the OTL tournament and the boys finished 1st. Great job all players and coaches!
