With the ruling this past week on KSHSAA protocols for winter activities it was voted on to have activities without spectators from December 1 through January 28. There are appeals to this so I will keep you informed the best I can. We appreciate your support as we all navigate through this process. Here are some important reminders:
1. With no parents at the games, we all realize the importance of having a medical person at basketball games. We will have one here at Frankfort and the TVL and OTL schools will have one as well at their sites. Our coaches will have with them the medical consent forms that were filled out by parents at enrollment. They will have parents phone numbers in case of an emergency. Let us know if your phone number has changed since enrollment.
2. In live streaming games, we will have the pixellot NFHS camera (subscription required) operating in the south gym and we will have the north gym streamed on facebook (no subscription required.) Most of the TVL schools have NFHS and will be streaming from there. The other schools will stream using their own platform and we will notify you before the game on what the games will be streamed on. We know how important it will be for parents/community to watch games so we will do all we can to make that happen. If you would like to subscribe to NFHS go to nfhsnetwork.com and make an account and follow Frankfort. You can also watch other schools and old games that were filmed on there.
3, At this point, there will be no concessions at home games.
