Over the break we were doing some work to the school and I got the honor of tearing out some old lockers with another graduate of Centralia. Figured I would share what we found. Hoping this will bring back some good memories for the class of 1984 and those surrounding!

I plan to share a lot today being that our 1st Semester is nearly complete. Our staff and students of Centralia Schools were glad to sit and listen to the 3rd Graders as they read their Christmas Stories to us!

Here are some elementary students making Christmas treats and delivering the Christmas plates to businesses and care home in town. Students love getting out and interacting with the community!
Theses are some pictures from yesterday- The 2nd graders did their readers theater. Students read their book, made up backgrounds, and act out their books.
Thanks to Deb Henry we have some pics of the kindergarten class where they learned about agricultural and made reindeer food.
A few Senior Student Aides helped the Third graders cut out and put together some snowman decorations. Don’t worry Drew Paid his buck to wear his hat on “Friday Hat Day”!
5th Graders did their Readers Theatre today for the 4th Grade. Some great stories and costumes were presented today.

Congratulations to Nick Thompson for placing first in his weight class at the Onaga wrestling Invitational. I saw him pin his first opponent and was informed he had a pin as well in the final match. Thank you to USD 322 for allowing him to wrestle for Onaga during the season
Wanted to take time to promote these young men. Shout out Coach Evan’s and Coach Holthaus for having our young men at both JH and High Levels look very nice and professional for game days. In the future, I will try to get pictures out of the different teams both boys and girls.
Great times here today. Thanks for the food Jason, Ann, and Mason Stallbaumer. Our Panther Family Tree was decorated by Mrs. Schmitz and Mrs. Gleason’s has the Grinch visible for all to see. Have a great weekend!

Mrs. Schmitz had a lesson on Holidays around the World this morning in the Second Grade Classroom. Mrs. Gore has been having a blast checking out books. Yesterday Mr. Shearer had a great lesson on adaptation and Darwin’s Theory on Evolution.
Cereal Box Presentations on US Presidents! George, John, Thomas, James, James, John, Andrew, Martin, etc how about adding discussion on The Compromise of 1877. American Government class is hard at work today!!!
