This group of Senior's went before the board to get permission for all Seniors to have an Open Lunch on Friday's. Great job of presenting a "Why" and the rules that go along with this perk. The Board and adminstrators approved of their efforts-- Seniors were granted permission.

Mrs. Bergman's Physics class tried out their boats on the waters today at a local pond. I am unsure how it all went but what a great day to be outside.

Mrs. Kramer was working on Budgeting and whether a person could taste the difference between brand/off brand items-Conclusion-price difference between off brands of cookies and chips is just too much, buy the off brand. MY TAKE-never do this with MAC AND CHEESE-GOT TO BE KRAFT!

Mrs. Gleason's Class had show and share today-students had to present something to the class and one student really enjoyed the puppies. The Book Fair is next week-GREAT fundraiser for the library. Our new panther pet for our K-6 classes came in today and it is Time to Shine.

4-H Fun Night is on the evening of October 9th. This is a great organization that contains a variety of activities for our youth.

Although this is a day late and the internet didn’t work most of the day at school, I wanted to take time to thank our custodial staff-Peggy, Matt, and Darlene -for the hard work they do for our youth. Their work doesn’t go unnoticed and are a great asset to Centralia Schools!

As posted last Friday, we had "Time to Shine" day with the boosters buying T-shirts for all students and staff. Here are a few of our drone pictures from Friday. We have some great video of kids dancing and forming a train but I am unable to get it uploaded at this time.

Great day for our cross country teams-. Girls Team placed 3rd. Race placed in Top 25!

More pictures from today’s dance pre-k through 12 dance party . Watching them play leap frog as the little ones tried to get over the older kids was an absolute treat. This interaction is not found at all schools. We feel that our K-12 building is truly a blessing!

Variety day-Mr. Conley had a great enrichment lesson using music- “Life Songs”. Alice Cooper made the board with some good reflection! Mrs Hasenkamp and the 6th grade exercising-Left my IPad with a few seniors who took some selfies- a few teachers having fun at our Dance Party!

Thank you to Janel Huninghake for taking Mrs. McKee 4th grade class through the Museum and City Hall. She did a great job of explaining her duties as the City Clerk and how the City Council works. This event reinforces the material they are discussing in class.

Homecoming week ends with students tailgating on the west side of the school. Students have been engaged and a great joy to be around. Hats off to our entire staff for coming together to get inside classes and outside activities covered. We have a great team! Go Panthers!
