State Large group festival in Atchison yesterday- Mrs Gleason, Mrs Schroller, and the Centralia students represented our school well. I don't have band pictures but the JH band students competed as well!!!








Mrs. Bergman, Mr. Thompson, Mrs. Talley, and the Seniors are spending this weekend in New York City.

4th grade has been studying electricity and conductors verses insulators.






This was shared with me and I am just getting to posting it. The award attached is from Mrs. Bergman's 6th-7th and 8th graders using IXL..they have answered 155,000 questions so far this year. Students are going above and beyond and taking control of their learning!!

Parker Koch was accepted into the State FFA band and will perform State convention at the beginning of June. This is Parker’s second year in the State FFA band. Congratulations Parker!

Another FCCLA year is coming to a close, congratulations go out to these ladies.

Meleah, Cora, Kieryn, Claire, Hailey, Kynlee-LEO project “The Basics of FCCLA” top red ribbon 99.5/100 points. Thanks to Melissa Talley for helping drive group to Wichita.

Jada shared about the 2022-2023 Cheer season for Coach Alhlvers who was unable to attend tonight but she wrote a great speech for her team and the seniors! 👏👏

Congratulations to Parker Koch and Lily Puvogel for competing at the Regional Music Festival at Benedictine College today. Parker received a 1 rating on his Tenor Saxophone Solo has qualified for the State Musical Festival.

Food Science: A team was 2nd over all! Parker K 5th, Derek K 13th, Mason S 20th, Wyatt K and Helen E.
B team was 7th over all! Alina F 1st, Melissa K, Aidan T, Ty W, and Dylan F.
Milk quality was 13th B team: Aidan T, Parker K, Wyatt K, Mason S, Derek K
Greenhand Vet Science was 9th: Alina F, Melissa K, Dylan F, Ty W.







Wanted to share a few of the many good moments from past week. Freshman PE Class helped get the gym ready for Concerts. Had an 8th Grader step up and help run off the Discuss at the Onaga Track meet without having to be asked! Information on FFA competition will be on next post!
2nd graders were studying nonfiction text features today in class. Yes, I had to make a note on my phone to make sure I am reporting accurately :) Keep shining Panthers!


The 6th graders went to Haverkamp's Grocery store to do some unit rate price comparisons for their 6th grade math-- 7th graders putting their use of probability to work at Yahtzee!!






Camden was enjoying his Robotics lesson with Mr. Shearer. Also, shout out to all of our Substitute teachers for helping with coverage. The Time to Shine year is flying by fast!







Third graders are studying consumers and producers. They are producing a product with the intent to sell this product to consumers. They were very creative with how they designed their products.
