Picture of Covid Virus

Dear Centralia Families,

This morning, November 10, 2020, USD 380 was notified by the Nemaha County Health Department that a student at Centralia School and two students in the Early Childhood programs have tested positive for COVID-19.  Per our established protocol, we have thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the spaces these individuals where in contact with. We are also in contact with the Nemaha County Health Department and will take the steps necessary to protect the health of our staff and students.

The individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed to return to school for at least 10 days. There are no school quarantines  in any of the cases.  The cases at the ECH involved students who were under quarantine from a previous case. Classes will resume tomorrow. We are closely monitoring this situation and will provide you with updates as we know more. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Matt Rogers at 785-382-6216 or rogersm@usd380.com.

Sincerely,

Matt Rogers
