Picture of Covid Virus

This morning, November 8, 2020, USD 380 was notified by a staff member who teaches at both Centralia and Frankfort schools that they have tested positive for COVID-19.  Per our established protocol, we have thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the spaces this individual was in contact with. We are also in contact with the Marshall County Health Department and will take the steps necessary to protect the health of our staff and students.

The individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed to return to school for at least 10 days. There are no close contact student quarantines from this case.  Classes will resume tomorrow.  We are closely monitoring this situation and will provide you with updates as we know more. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Matt Rogers at 785-382-6216 or rogersm@usd380.com.

Sincerely,

Matt Rogers
