November 28, 2020, USD 380 was notified by the Nemaha County Health Department that a staff member at Centralia School has tested positive for COVID-19. Per our established protocol, we have thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the spaces this individual was in contact with. We are also in contact with the Nemaha County Health Department and will take the steps necessary to protect the health of our staff and students.
The individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed to return to school for at least 10 days. There are no close contact quarantines from this case. Classes will resume December 1. We are closely monitoring this situation and will provide you with updates as we know more.
