The first semester is finished and students are home for Winter Break.  Where has the time gone?  I want to thank everyone for their hard work and willingness to do what’s best for kids.  I cannot wait for our staff and students to come back refreshed and ready to continue the pursuit of their goals.  As we all take some time off, we should reflect on how things went during the first semester.  Did I as a teacher provide the very best opportunities for my students?  Did I as a student give my best?  I truly believe we have the best students and staff around, and I look forward to all of the great accomplishments the second semester will bring.  USD 380 will be conducting another community meeting in Centralia, at the school library, on Wednesday December 19th at 6:00 pm.  The second community meeting will be in Frankfort on January 9th.  That meeting will be in the school library at 6:00 pm also. The topic of the community meetings will be communication. I look forward to hearing from the community on ideas about improved communication. I want to wish everyone a happy Holiday Season!  I cannot wait to see what 2019 has to offer!!
